The only additional medications that a CC-P is allowed to carry is RSI drugs only if approved by the medical director. Any treatment, medication or equipment outside of what the state has needs a waiver approved by the state.

CCT skills are determined and signed off by Medical Director with no limitations. No extra certifcation required.

6 extra skills that are approved by the state. Extensive process that requires a lot of Medical Direction oversite and approvals. Pending new state director, restrictions may lighten up a bit

There are 4 counties that HCA hospital are in. All of the counties have tiny some volunteer ems operations. Looks very rural

When performing neonatal or pediatric missions, at least one of the medical personnel on each type V ambulance shall be currently certified in advanced life support for neonatal and pediatric patients by a certifying entity approved by the board.

Neonatal Specialty Care Agency shall be staffed by an EMR, Primary attendant licensed RN, and one of: Advanced practice RN, RT, PA, Physician, RN or Paramedic/ Anyone hired after 1/1/2020 my have a specialty certification in PCC or NCC

Specialty Care Transport = Critical Care Transport. There is no such thing as a credentialed Critical Care provider but rather a paramedic is a paramedic but the medical director can determine who can do what. i-CAPP: Pilot program AEMTP (community based EMTP) Equipment/supply/medication requirements determined by agency medical director, submitted and approved by state.

There is a RN with EMT level that appears to be inline with CCT-Medic.

The CCP Scope of Practice includes the Utah EMS Protocol Guidelines and scopes of practice for paramedics. In addition, CCPs have an expanded scope that includes the administration of advanced medications and advanced procedures as outlined by the agency's Medical Director and approved by the Office of Emergency Medical Services and Preparedness.
